CDR or Audio CD? Unless your CD player has a remote control, you will be much happier using a computer to play your effects. Alternatively, if you have one of the new cd players that plays both mp3 CD's as well as Audio CD's you may try this option. Another suggestion that works well in today's "Cheap Blanks, Cheap Player" CD market is to burn multiple CD's with perhaps 10 tracks each once you receive your discs, and buy multiple players. This solution may be less expensive than a player with remote, and is acceptable under the terms of your purchase. Finally, An IPOD® May work as well.

"I'm going to use a computer, now what?" There are quite a few ways to approach this, from free to really expensive. Creating folders on your desktop and sizing them so the files are visible is one option. Click on your files to play with your default media player. A local web page on your computer with links to the files you use is another option. Try a search for DJ software at a reputable site like download.com. There is a good, well-priced solution designed for baseball--Bill Buschmeier's Sports Sounds Pro v.4. Hundreds of customizable buttons, auto play mode, and a lot of cool features written by a professional programmer who also happens to announce ball games-- this program may just be the quick and easy solution you're looking for.
